Job summary

Stefanini Group is hiring a Linux Server Administrator in Pittsburgh, PA to join our Client IT team. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Linux infrastructure, deploying applications, and handling automation and monitoring tasks.

The role requires Red Hat/OpenShift experience and a strong Linux background. The position is contract-based with long-term prospects in a dynamic enterprise environment, based in Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 3-5 years' experience in Linux Server administration (Redhat/OEL) in large enterprise environment.
• At least 2 years' experience in building and managing Redhat OpenShift based Virtualized environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux: RedHat, OEL, CentOS, etc.
• Knowledge of Commvault Backup and EMC Data Domain.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain infrastructure components in a physical/virtualized Linux Environment.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers.
• Deployment and migration of applications and Oracle databases.
• Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux Systems.
• Write and troubleshoot Linux Shell Scripts.
• Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux servers.
