Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC seeks a Linux Server Administrator to join our Pittsburgh, PA team. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of Linux administration (Red Hat-based) and at least 2 years with Red Hat OpenShift virtualization; strong scripting and monitoring skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 3-5 years' experience in Linux Server administration (Redhat/OEL) in large enterprise environment.
• At least 2 years' experience in building and managing Redhat OpenShift based Virtualized environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux: RedHat, OEL, CentOS, etc.
• Knowledge of Commvault Backup and EMC Data Domain.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain infrastructure components in a physical/virtualized Linux Environment.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers.
• Deployment and migration of applications and Oracle databases.
• Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux Systems.
• Write and troubleshoot Linux Shell Scripts.
• Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux servers.
