Job summary

ardentprinciples seeks a Linux Engineer to lead engineering and enterprise‑level support across complex Linux, VMware, and Windows environments in Chantilly, VA. You will provide deep Tier 2–Tier 4 expertise, drive resolution for critical systems, and guide efforts to keep infrastructure secure and mission‑ready.

You will configure VMware vCenter and NSX‑T, operate Active Directory, DNS, DFS, and DHCP, and maintain DISA STIG compliance to uphold a hardened security posture.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA.
• Experience with VMware vCenter and NSX-T in enterprise environments.
• Experience maintaining DISA STIG compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and enterprise support across Linux, VMware, and Windows.
• Provide Tier 2–Tier 4 technical expertise and resolve critical issues.
