Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of experience with Linux in enterprise settings.
• Experience with Configuration as Code tooling; Ansible preferred.
• Experience with RHEL and Ubuntu in disconnected environments.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Bachelor's or higher in IT/CS or related field, or 4 extra years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage, and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu servers across connected and disconnected networks.
• Develop, utilize, and maintain Ansible Playbooks to secure, patch, and configure Linux servers.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads deployed on the clusters.
• Configure connected services such as network adapters, storage, and firewalls.
• Deploy, configure, and support monitoring capabilities to detect anomalies or service disruptions.
• Investigate service disruptions and provide root cause analysis reports with preventive steps.
