Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a Linux Application Support & Automation Engineer in Charlotte, NC to support Java-based applications on Linux. You will manage Linux systems, host applications, and automate tasks with Shell, Python, Perl, and BladeLogic NSH.

You will diagnose connectivity issues, manage TLS/SSL certificates, and collaborate with infra and network teams to ensure secure and highly available production environments. Strong scripting and automation experience are required.

Qualifications

Linux system administration and Java application hosting in production.
Shell scripting with Python, Perl and BladeLogic NSH for automation.
TLS/SSL certificate management and secure communications.
Root cause analysis for application, server and network issues.
Experience with deployment automation and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Support, maintain and troubleshoot Java applications on Linux hosts.
Automate deployments and operational tasks using scripts and tools.
Collaborate with infrastructure, network and application teams to ensure availability.
Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
