Job summary

Quadcode is a fintech company offering a SaaS trading platform behind our flagship internal product. We seek a Linux Administrator to join the Ops team, supporting PHP/Go applications and running 2,000+ VMs and 300+ physical servers on Ubuntu.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Linux servers in production environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of Linux internals, networking, system services and troubleshooting.
• Experience administering PostgreSQL and/or Greenplum.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Good scripting skills with Python and/or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, particularly GitLab CI and/or Jenkins.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and system profiling, particularly Prometheus and Grafana.
• Fluent Russian (C2 or higher) for communication with the team.
• English B1+ for technical documentation and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu) across development and production environments.
• Administer PostgreSQL databases and Greenplum clusters, including performance and reliability troubleshooting.
• Administer and support KeyDB, ClickHouse and Kafka.
• Configure and maintain infrastructure services such as Nginx, Jenkins, GitLab CI, DataHub, Allure and Airflow.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Ansible, as well as scripting with Python, Bash and other languages.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes environments, including application deployments using Helm.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents and improve system performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, working with tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Work with OpenStack and AWS infrastructure.
• Support development teams with infrastructure-related issues and their working environments.
• Work closely with the Infrastructure team to troubleshoot issues and coordinate infrastructure changes, including new hardware provisioning.
• Contribute to security practices and PCI DSS requirements.

We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.

About the role

We’re looking for a Linux Administrator to join our Ops team— a team working at the intersection of infrastructure and software development, supporting applications built with PHP and Go. The Ops team is responsible for keeping the infrastructure and services behind our products stable, secure and reliable in production. The team works across virtual machines, databases, CI/CD, monitoring, automation and internal platform services such as Thanos, Prometheus, Grafana, Ceph and profiling systems. Our infrastructure supports the stable operation of a large‑scale trading platform and includes 2,000+ virtual machines and 300+ physical servers, running predominantly on Ubuntu. We work with Scrum, Agile and a data‑driven approach, with two‑week sprints and a strong focus on continuous improvement. The position is full‑time remote, with a flexible start time — anytime before 12:00 pm EET/EEST.

Tasks
