Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking an Intermediate Linux Administrator to support the FNMOC CDS environment in Monterey, CA. The role involves system administration, monitoring, maintenance, and user support on-site, with occasional travel to Stennis Space Center, MS.

Experience with CDS is a plus but not required; vendor training will be provided. Salary range is $110k–$115k with employee benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux training required.
• 3 years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration experience.
• Knowledge of Apache NiFi software components and configuration.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Clearance: TS/SCI Eligibility required.

TheIntermediateLinuxAdministratorwillsupport the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC)on a full-time, on-site basis in Monterey, California.System administration supportis neededfortheCross Domain Solution (CDS) environmentlocatedat FNMOC.This position will require regular review and maintenance of the CDS environment, implementation of tasking and updates, and providing emergency support as needed.The performer should expectoccasional travel to Stennis Space Center, MS, including minimally a 1-week trip for training at the start of the task.Experience with CDS administrationisaplus butnotrequired. The client intends to provide vendor training onCommander NavyMeteorologyOceanography Command (CNMOC)CDS systems to cover specialized procedures needed to manage the CDS environment.
