Job summary

T-Rex Solutions, LLC is actively seeking a Linux Administrator 2 to join a highly capable Linux team in the Fort Meade, MD area, supporting IC programs. The role emphasizes architecture design, solution development, and ongoing Linux maintenance across multiple networks and architectures in a hybrid cloud setting.

Required are 10+ years SA experience, a technical bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and DoD 8570.01-M IAT II level certifications (SEC+, CCNA) alongside an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Ten years of SA experience on similar programs and contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; five additional SA years may substitute for the degree.
• DoD 8570.01-M compliance with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA).

Linux Administrator 2

to work on a program in the Fort Meade, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities:

• Work in an environment where you can help design the architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs. Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures.

Requirements:

• Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA)

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with FSP security clearance is required.
