Job summary

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking Linguist Role Players with foreign-language proficiency to support realistic NSW field training in Southern California. Linguists portray foreign-national characters and interact with SOF trainees through interpreters to increase scenario realism.

Positions require ILR Speaking Level 2 proficiency in a target language; some positions additionally require an active Secret clearance. This role may require travel to CA ranges and wear PPE per task orders.

Qualifications

• ILR Speaking Level 2 proficiency in a target language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Korean).
• Active Secret clearance preferred or required where noted in contract.
• Ability to work through interpreters and stay on script.
• Willingness to travel to assigned ranges and support field training.

Responsibilities

• Portray foreign-language-speaking scenario characters.
• Interact with trainees through interpreters; stay on script.
• Support OPFOR/scenario roles as directed; wear PPE.
• Travel to and perform at CA ranges per task order.
