Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service is seeking a Lineworker Wage Agency Instructor in Bryan, Texas. This part-time temporary position involves conducting high voltage training courses and ensuring effective instruction through hands-on learning.

Lineworker Instructor will conduct high voltage, electric power line technician training courses and general and technical safety classes for the Electrical Power Program. Through hands‑on classroom and field training, the instructor will utilize skill and knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success and overall effectiveness of the course instruction.
The instructor will use a variety of media to present course material to lead participants to succeed in completing course objectives. The instructor will build positive customer relationships to promote and build the program.
Must be skilled and qualified in most aspects of electric power distribution system construction and maintenance in both an aerial and underground environment, and have experience in a live (i.e., high voltage) environment using both live line tools and rubber gloving techniques. This position will report to the Training Coordinator.
