Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Lineworker for Tamworth, NH. You will construct, install, repair and maintain distribution and transmission circuits, substations, and related facilities, working on energized and de-energized equipment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ months overhead line experience, and the ability to obtain a CDL Class A with Endorsements. Wage begins at $56.73 per hour, with starting rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 18 months overhead electric line experience on energized/de-energized lines.
• Ability to understand electrical theory and company line work practices.
• Must be able to become a certified rubber glover for 34.5 kV.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the Area Work Center and be available for outages/overtime.
• CDL Class A with Special Trailer Endorsement and clean driving record.
• Physical capability for moderately heavy outdoor work and passing CAST test.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain and remove distribution and transmission circuits and substations.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized lines; install transformers and related components.
• Respond to outages and emergencies as required, including unusual hours.
• Meet safety standards and work within company policies.
