Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Lineworker 1/c or 2/c as demonstrated by proficiency testing and past performance appraisals.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Retain appropriate qualifications on the National Grid Switching and Tagging list.
• Be thoroughly familiar with all Construction, Operating, and Maintenance Standards, and Safety Standards and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and repair electrical distribution and transmission systems above and below ground.
• Operate aerial and excavation equipment; perform work at heights and on poles.
• Complete documentation and reports related to work performed.
