NRDB Utilities, LLC is a privately owned and operated LLC specializing in underground and aerial placement. We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals for full-time employment as Lineman/Groundsman in our Aerial and Underground Construction Division. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize ladders, crawl spaces, manholes, and trenches to access installation and construction points.
2. Safely operate a bucket truck, climb poles, and use standard tools.
3. This position may require out-of-town travel during the week.
4. Work across all divisions (underground/aerial) as needed.
5. Rod and rope through existing conduit.
6. Run and pull fiber optic cable.
7. Read and interpret engineered prints and project documentation.
8. Drive a company vehicle while towing a trailer.
9. Operate equipment such as plows, mini excavators, missiles, aerial lift devices, lasher, and hand tools.
10. Maintain a safe work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
11. Provide daily reports and plans for upcoming work.
12. Climb poles and ladders up to 50 feet.
13. Maintain professionalism with colleagues and customers.
14. Follow customer procedures for documentation and notifications.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the project manager.
16. Make sound decisions related to job duties.
17. Work scheduled shifts, including optional weekend overtime, under various weather conditions.
18. Perform tasks involving prolonged sitting and standing.
19. Work in confined spaces such as maintenance holes.
20. Throw ropes over elevated cables and pull lasher down lines.
21. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles, including daily inspections and proper stocking.
22. Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
23. Perform tasks such as running equipment, digging, and placing conduit.
24. Lash new cables, build strand, and rod and rope underground conduit.
25. Perform hand digging and flagging as needed.
26. Perform other duties as assigned.
