Job Title: Groundsman Location:Sellersville, PA Company: Bairs Tree and Lawn

Job Overview: We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Groundsman to join our tree care team. The Groundsman plays a vital role in supporting our tree climbers by handling tasks on the ground, including collecting and clearing debris, operating equipment, and ensuring the work site remains safe and efficient. • Assist tree climbers by preparing and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas
• Collect, chip, and remove branches, logs, and debris from work sites
• Operate equipment such as wood chippers, chainsaws, and stump grinders
• Communicate with climbers to ensure safe and efficient work coordination
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure worksite safety for the crew and bystanders
• Load and unload equipment from trucks and trailers
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is a plus
• Familiarity with chainsaws, wood chippers, and other tree care equipment
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license is required.
