Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Missouri is seeking a Laundry Associate to support our hotel operations. The role involves loading and unloading washers and dryers, feeding towels and linens through equipment, and ensuring a clean, organized work area.

You will work with a team to meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality and safety standards. The shift runs 9:30am to 6:00pm with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift at least 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload washers according to machine guidelines.
• Load and unload dryers according to machine guidelines.
• Stretch and straighten tangled linens.
• Run towels through the towel‑folding machine.
• Manually fold towels and bedspreads.
• Run sheets through the ironer at the recommended speed.
• Catch and stack sheets and other linens in the correct carts.
• Sort and soak stained linens and terry items.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions.
• Transport linens and terry from sorting to washers.
• Safely operate all equipment while maintaining productivity.
• Clean lint from machines and keep area tidy.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers as part of a team.
