Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Linen Specialist PRN in Savannah, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and distributing linen and textile products across the facility while also performing various environmental services. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least one year of relevant experience in healthcare or a service-related field. This role includes various responsibilities to manage linen supplies efficiently and enhance patient experience through collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a service-related field is preferred.

• Provide and distribute linen and textile products throughout the facility.
• Perform environmental services duties as needed.
• Enter linen data into the computerized linen management system and generate reports.

Job Summary

As a Linen Specialist PRN, you will be responsible for providing and distributing linen and textile products and services throughout the facility and performing environmental services duties as needed at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and linen/textile policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, RCRA/Hazmat, solid waste and linen/textiles.
• Manage counts of linen, scrubs, microfiber products, curtains and other textiles.
• Deliver, stock and supervise the pickup, removal and transport of linen, scrubs, microfiber products and curtains to patient care and non‑patient care areas.
• Enter linen data into the computerized linen management system and generate reports.
• Manage service recovery as needed and maintain linen expense and loss goals.
• Use supplies and resources efficiently to eliminate waste.
• Collaborate with leadership on recommendations to improve patient experience.
• May include ordering of linen, scrubs, microfiber products and curtains.
• Computer, electronic tablet and basic technology skills required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a service‑related field (preferred).
