We are currently recruiting for a Linen Room Attendant at Central Regional Hospital.

The primary purpose of this position is to meet the sanitation and safety needs of patients, staff, and visitors of the hospital.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

1. Preparing all linen (sheets, spreads, laundry bags, towels, etc.) and wearing apparel received daily for distribution to patient care areas, clinics, etc.
2. Checking wearing apparel for repairs, names, etc., and delivering to the appropriate ward.
3. Bagging and transporting items to be repaired weekly to the sewing room.
4. Cleaning the linen room, emptying trash, sweeping/dusting, and mopping floors daily or as needed.
5. Performing other duties as assigned.

This is a 1st shift position, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday, with alternating weekends and holidays.

This is a full-time position eligible for the full State benefits package, including health insurance and retirement. It is a Mandatory position requiring reporting or staying over during adverse weather.
