Job summary

Western States Lodging & Management seeks a Guest Linen Attendant to collect, wash, and distribute hotel linens with precision. You will operate commercial laundry equipment and inspect for quality, handling linens to minimize wear and damage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or related experience.
• Experience with laundry procedures and commercial laundry equipment.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and linen quality.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented approach to daily responsibilities.
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, organize, and distribute hotel linens and towels.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment proficiently and safely.
• Handle linens properly throughout the laundry process to help prevent unnecessary wear or damage.
• Inspect linens and towels for stains, tears, damage, or other quality concerns.
• Perform minor linen repairs or adjustments when appropriate.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and quality control.
• Monitor linen and towel inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering supplies as needed.
• Help train new Guest Linen Attendants on procedures, equipment, safety practices, and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support to newer team members as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry workspace.
• Follow proper procedures for handling laundry chemicals and equipment.
• Coordinate with housekeeping associates to prioritize linen needs based on daily hotel operations.
• Demonstrate Western States Lodging & Management hospitality and service standards.
