Job summary

Railey Vacations in Oakland, MD is seeking a Linen Attendant to support our rental properties. You will strip, wash, dry, fold, and prep linens for delivery, maintaining clean stock and timely turnover between stays.

This role requires ability to lift 50 lbs, work weekends and holidays, and operate in varied weather. You will collaborate with multiple departments and uphold professional service for guests, owners, and vendors. You may be asked to help pack totes and load vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping dirty linens within rental homes and sorting of dirty linens.
• Treat dirty linens with appropriate chemicals and inspect for stains and compromised linens.
• Washing and drying linens.
• Folding and pressing linens and ensuring clean linens are well stocked and ready for packing.
• Assist with prepping linens for delivery and packing linen totes correctly.
• Load linen totes into laundry vehicles for daily deliveries as needed.
• Provide cross-departmental assistance across departments including Will O’ the Wisp, Suites at Silver Tree, owner projects, and affiliated initiatives.
• Provide exemplary customer service to guests, owners, coworkers and vendors, ensuring expedient task resolution.
• Represent Railey Vacations with professionalism and look out for the company’s best interests while delivering quality work.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Provide exemplary customer service to guests, owners, coworkers and vendors while providing expedient resolution of assigned tasks
• Represent Railey Mountain Lake Vacations with extreme professionalism, looking out for the company’s best interest while providing efficient, quality work
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Preferred experience in a laundry processing facility

Physically you can anticipate to:

• Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
• Exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time
• Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
