Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking an Environmental Services team member to deliver clean linen carts to floors, collect soiled linen, and maintain inventory accuracy to support hospital operations.

You will follow infection control procedures, keep linen room records, interact professionally with staff, and assist with data entry using computer systems. A high school education and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Basic knowledge in use of computers and ability to learn appropriate software applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen carts to the floor and collect soiled linen.
• Maintain linen records for reporting and accountability.
• Manage in-house linen inventory levels and PAR levels.
• Interface professionally with NCHS staff and leadership.
• Ensure linen room is clean and equipment is in good working order.
• Follow infection control procedures and report safety hazards.
