Nicklaus Children’s Hospital – Environmental Services (Linen Tech) is seeking a part-time EVS technician for day shifts. The role involves delivering clean linen carts, collecting soiled linen, and maintaining accurate linen inventory and records.

You will interact professionally with hospital staff and ensure compliance with infection control procedures while keeping the linen area clean and organized. Qualifications include prior customer service experience and a high school diploma or

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Able to input data and create basic reports.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions to solve complex problems.

Responsabilités

• Deliver clean linen carts to the floor and pick up dirty linen.
• Maintain linen records for reporting and accountability.
• Organize linen store room per standard room setup.
• Transport soiled linen to central collection area.
• Ensure inventory levels are sufficient and PAR levels are met.
• Keep linen room clean and orderly; handle spills and debris as needed.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and infection control procedures are followed.
