Job summary

Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown is hiring a Laundry Attendant to support the housekeeping team. You will operate commercial washers and dryers, fold and distribute linens, and ensure clean, ready-to-use items across storage locations.

Responsibilities include maintaining laundry AREA cleanliness, monitoring supplies, and reporting issues promptly. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Hospitality environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and terry according to hotel standards.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and storage areas.
• Monitor laundry supply levels and alert management when ordering is needed.
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and remove items as needed.
• Deliver clean linens to storage rooms or floors as directed.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical use.
• Assist the housekeeping team with additional tasks when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
