Job summary

Sonesta Hotels in Nashville is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to support our housekeeping team in a fast-paced on-site laundry facility. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens to ensure a steady supply for guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, inspecting laundry items, reporting damages, and assisting with cleaning duties as needed. This role requires physical stamina, lifting up to 75 pounds, and availability mornings, evenings,

Qualifications

• Some previous commercial laundry experience preferred.
• The ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive soiled articles and sort by kind, color, and soil level.
• Operate washers and dryers per standards and guidelines.
• Monitor supplies and equipment for sufficiency and operation.
• Fold and store clean linens; report damages to supervisor.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas following standards, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with shifts and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
