Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking an experienced Laundry Assistant for Oak Forest Health & Rehab Center. You will handle linen replenishment, collect soiled laundry, and manage washing, drying, ironing, and folding of residents' clothing in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

This position requires a high school diploma, neat appearance and hygiene, ability to follow Facility policies, and availability to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school graduate
• Attend Environmental Services Department meetings and inservices
• Demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene
• Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies
• Work every other weekend with rest days off during the week

Responsibilities

• Replenishes linen closets and carts at appropriate times daily
• Collects soiled personal laundry per schedule and transports to laundry area via covered hampers
• Assures washing, drying, ironing, and folding of patient’s personal clothing
• Assists with assuring laundry services with the Facility meet the needs of the residents
• Performs other duties as assigned
