Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments for a long-term care facility. You will support residents and staff by ensuring clean, well-organized laundry services and timely distribution of uniforms and supplies.

You will operate laundry equipment safely, follow infection control policies, and participate in ongoing training. This role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and a positive team attitude in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
