Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, follow safety and infection control practices, and provide friendly service to residents and staff.

The role emphasizes reliability, ability to work with minimal supervision, and adherence to health policies. Training is provided, and benefits apply depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must follow infection control policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
