Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Laundry Attendant to perform daily laundry tasks and support the facility’s linen supply needs. You will work under the guidance of the Executive Director or Director of Housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents.

Key duties include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry, while following all safety and chemical-handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily laundry functions following established procedures.
• Sort soiled laundry and separate items needing special treatment.
• Fold, count, and distribute clean laundry and linen.
• Follow safety precautions when using equipment and chemicals.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive work areas.
