Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels, LLC is seeking a Laundry Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and care of linens, manage laundry equipment, and ensure supplies are used correctly in the hotel's laundry room.

You will sort, load and unload washers and dryers, fold linen, and keep machines, floors and shelves clean, with on-the-job training for those new to the role.

Basic English is required, and experience is welcome but not necessary, offering a hands-on entry path within the hotel housekeeping team.

Qualifications

• Basic English required.
• Experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Sorting of soiled linen, loading, unloading and operation of washers and dryers
• Folding of clean linen
• Cleaning and care of all laundry room equipment, cleaning of floors, sorting tables, linen shelves, laundry trucks
• Proper use of laundry supplies and materials
• Responsible for starching and ironing all table linen
