Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Las Vegas is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will work in the commercial laundry facility and assist with cleaning, sorting, and storing linens to meet hotel needs.

You may also clean guest rooms and public spaces, operate laundry equipment, and report issues to supervisors, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. This role requires mornings/evenings/weekends availability.

Qualifications

• Some previous commercial laundry experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest and client interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Sort soiled articles by kind, color and soil; inspect and record damaged items.
• Operate washers and dryers according to hotel standards and guidelines.
• Monitor supplies and equipment to ensure readiness and safety.
• Fold, store linens, and report damages to supervisor.
• Clean and service rooms and public areas per established standards.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report unserviceable rooms.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Minimize waste and handle lost and found items per procedures.
