Job summary

Responsibilities

• Carries out all laundry duties as directed by supervisor according to policies and procedures.
• Ensures daily work/cleaning schedules are followed.
• Uses laundry equipment safely and reports defects to supervisor.
• Maintains privacy of residents and adheres to infection control.
• Follows PPE requirements and safety/hygiene measures.
• Completes required documentation daily.
• Coordinates laundry with nursing services for routine tasks.
• Sorts, washes, dries, and distributes clean laundry to residents.
• Monitors supplies and reports shortages.
• Keeps laundry area clean and free of hazards.
