Job summary

Homewood Suites Kansas City Speedway is seeking a friendly Laundry Attendant to perform linen processing, cleaning, folding, and stocking in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will operate washers/dryers, maintain clean laundry spaces, manage chemicals, and support a safe, welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members. Prior hospitality experience a plus; schedule includes varying shifts. 18+ required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/service or related field preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
• Able to work in high-pressure environments.
• Strong listening and conflict-resolution skills.
• Clear communication and guest service orientation.
• 18+ years old.
• Willing to work varied schedule including evenings/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Punctuality: clock in/out on time; no off-clock.

Responsibilities

• Linen Processing: Collect, transport, sort, weigh, load/unload washers/dryers, fold, store, and deliver linens.
• Linen Cleaning and Folding: Wash, dry, sort, fold, and stock linen carts.
• Equipment Operation: Operate washing machines and dryers; maintain equipment.
• Laundry Facility Cleanliness: Sweep/mop floors; keep back-of-house areas clean and organized.
• Chemical Management: Replace and replenish cleaning chemicals.
