Job summary

Blast Off Bay in Goddard, KS operates a Hampton Inn and is seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant to support guest services by maintaining clean linens and ready supplies. You will work with a team to ensure timely delivery and adherence to brand standards while maintaining a safe, organized laundry area.

The role requires basic physical ability to lift and move items, willingness to learn, and a dependable, punctual attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and sort linens, towels, and other hotel textiles according to brand standards.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of clean linens and supplies, restocking housekeeping carts as needed.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and remove items that do not meet quality standards.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
• Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures for laundry detergents and cleaning agents.
