Job summary

Residence Inn Kansas City Olathe is seeking a Laundry Attendant to handle linen processing, operate washers and dryers, and maintain clean, safe work areas. You will support housekeeping by sorting and distributing towels and linens and adhering to brand standards and safety protocols.

This role requires standing for extended periods with potential weekend/holiday shifts, offering growth within the housekeeping path. Competitive wages and benefits are provided for full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering.
• Load and unload washers and dryers.
• Maintain equipment as trained.
• Fold, store and distribute towels and linens.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
