Grandover Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Laundry Attendant to load and unload washers and dryers, sort and wash linen, and assist with final processing after loads are completed.

Typical hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Weekends and holidays are required. The role involves operating laundry equipment, handling textiles, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety and company policies.

Qualificações

• Must have a High school degree.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and handle manual tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor washing and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer and dryer and place in clean linen carts.
• Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics in the load.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens and drain traps after each load.
• Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
• Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Follow company policies; maintain clean appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Identify ways to increase efficiency, quality and cost-savings.
