Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and transport soiled laundry and personal items from resident rooms and common areas to the laundry facilities.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washing, drying, and ironing, to ensure prompt and efficient processing of laundry.
• Fold, package, and deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and common areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control practices to prevent the spread of infection.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues with laundry equipment to ensure prompt repair.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff by responding promptly to requests and concerns.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and laundry operations.
