Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items, ensuring cleanliness and infection control.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior laundry experience is welcome but not required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products. Residency within the service area is required.

• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
