Job summary

Browns Valley Health Center in Browns Valley, MN is seeking a dependable laundry aide to perform day-to-day functions of the Laundry Department, including collecting, sorting, washing, folding, hanging and distributing clean garments and linens, in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and as directed by the Environmental Services Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8th grade education preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for work-related communication.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Positive, friendly, and respectful attitude toward residents, visitors, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, weigh, and launder soiled linens and garments.
• Fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry and linens to residents.
• Observe laundry for mending or labeling needs.
• Operate and monitor laundry equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.
