Job summary

Pacific Villas Post Acute in Oceanside, CA is seeking a part-time Janitor (Maintenance) to manage linen and laundry tasks for residents. Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, labeling, and delivering clean items while maintaining sanitary practices and inventory.

No supervisory duties are noted. Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma and around 1 year of experience preferred; basic math and ability to follow written directions are required.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience GED or High School Diploma; 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes and/or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed.
• Sorting, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
