Job summary

Columbus Alzheimer's Care Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to ensure clean linens and clothing for residents, with attention to detail and respectful handling of personal items.

You will operate washers and dryers, maintain a sanitary laundry area, cooperate with housekeeping and nursing staff, and help keep resident comfort through timely delivery of fresh laundry and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred but not required.; On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and clothing for residents.
• Operate washers, dryers, and irons; report issues to supervisor.
• Label and sort residents' personal items to ensure correct delivery.
• Follow infection control guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
• Maintain a clean, organized laundry area and report supply needs.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and nursing to ensure timely delivery of clean items.
