Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Laundry/Housekeeping Assistant for our Twinsburg facility to ensure clean linen, maintain sanitary conditions, and support resident comfort.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, label items, and deliver linen, while following safety procedures. GED or HS diploma preferred; no certifications required. We value reliability and teamwork in a compassionate post-acute care environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required or preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions for laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills for counting and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes and/or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident’s clothing items as needed.
• Sorting, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
