Job summary

Heritage Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Laundry Attendant. You will perform day-to-day laundry duties to keep resident linens clean, safe, and stocked, supporting a comfortable living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain sanitation, order, and safety.
• Must follow written and oral instructions concerning mixing cleaning compounds.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds up to a height of 5 feet and carry such weight up to 50 feet

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily laundry services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Wear and/or use safety equipment (e.g., back brace, mechanical lifts) when lifting or moving heavy objects.
• Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner (e.g., dryer lint traps).
• Report accidents/incidents to your supervisor.
• Keep supervisor informed of supply needs.
