Qualifications

• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift 25 pounds to 5 feet and carry 50 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department per current standards and regulations.
• Coordinate daily laundry services with nursing services when in resident living areas.
• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment when handling chemicals and supplies.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and sanitary; monitor and maintain supplies.
• Distribute clean laundry during emergencies as instructed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
