Bethesda Health Group in Oakland, MO seeks a Laundry/Linen Attendant to transfer wet linens, operate laundry equipment, and ensure timely delivery of clean items to residents. You will maintain cleanliness in the laundry area and report equipment issues promptly.

This role offers part-time or full-time status with benefits such as 403b, daily pay, bonuses, and holiday pay, and requires you to read and follow written instructions and lift up to 70 lbs.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six months experience in an institutional laundry preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment.
• Good manual dexterity and motor skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to lift 10-70lbs and push/pull heavy carts.
• Ability to stoop, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Exposed to noise, heat and humid conditions.

Mansioni

• Transfer wet linens to dryers and set dryers to correct temps.
• Deliver clean linens to linen room or residents' rooms in a timely manner.
• Maintain resident list with names and room numbers for accurate deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room, carts, and assigned area.
• Immediately report equipment malfunctions to department manager or supervisor.
• Cross-trained to perform essential washing machine operator duties.
• May be assigned other duties as appropriate.
