Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Little Rock Downtown is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support daily hotel operations. You will process linens, operate washers and dryers, and help keep back-of-house areas organized.

The role emphasizes a positive attitude, teamwork, and adherence to established guidelines, with varied shifts including evenings and weekends. You will contribute to spotless cleanliness and exceptional guest service across the property.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to Follow Guidelines: Must understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Handle Pace and Pressure: Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening, Conflict Resolution: Must listen, understand, clarify, and resolve concerns.
• Communication Skills: Must convey information clearly.
• Hospitality and Guest Service: Must have a desire to serve all guests.
• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job.
• Schedule and Travel: Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Clock-in/Out, Breaks, Call Outs: Follow scheduling and attendance rules.

Responsibilities

• Linen Processing: collects, transports, sorts, weighs, loads/unloads washers and dryers, folds, stores and delivers linens.
• Linen Cleaning and Folding: wash and dry linens, remove and sort dirty linens, stock carts.
• Equipment Operation: operate washing machines and dryers, clean filters, maintain equipment as trained.
• Laundry Facility Cleanliness: sweep/mop floors, keep carts clean, stock linen closets, keep back-of-house areas organized.
• Chemical Management: replace and replenish cleaning chemicals.
