Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services is seeking a Linen Technician to ensure daily tasks are handled efficiently and safely within the healthcare facility. You will participate in the delivery of clean linen, collection of soiled linen, inventory updates, and keeping storage areas orderly while following Crown policies and procedures.

The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and a willingness to handle both clean and soiled textiles in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen on schedule and manage the return of soiled linen.
• Record inventories and quantities of linen and keep storage areas neat and organized.
• Receive service calls, document the request, and respond as per Crown policies.
• Observe and report linen abuse or poor utilization to the Linen Distribution Manager.
• Manage linen inventory levels and ensure par levels are maintained.
• Record data using tablets or order sheets as required.
• Transport carts safely and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
