Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services is seeking a Linen Technician to ensure daily linen distribution tasks are completed safely and efficiently at the healthcare facility. You will deliver clean linen, transport soiled items, and maintain accurate inventories while adhering to Crown policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from the Linen Distribution Manager and complete duties safely and efficiently.
• Deliver clean linen, collect soiled linen, and record inventories accurately.
• Maintain organized linen storage areas according to Crown policies.
• Handle incoming service calls and respond professionally, documenting details as required.
• Monitor and report linen abuse or misutilization to the LDM.
• Manage inventory levels and re-stock carts to prescribed par levels.
• Record data using tablets or order sheets and transport linens safely.
• Keep the linen room neat and orderly at all times.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned and work with both clean and soiled linen.
