Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services is seeking a Linen Distribution Technician to ensure daily duties are completed safely, timely, and efficiently. The role involves delivering clean linen, collecting soiled linen, and maintaining accurate inventories.

Candidates should be prepared to handle customer service requests, log activities, and keep the linen room organized while adhering to Crown policies and procedures. This is a first shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work the assigned schedule without delay, tardiness, or absenteeism.
• Deliver clean linen in a neat and orderly fashion; collect and transport soiled linen; accurately record inventories; organize and clean linen storage areas per Crown policies and LDM instructions.
• Receive customer calls for service; record the nature of the call; satisfy requests promptly per Crown policies and LDM instructions.
• Observe, record, and report linen abuse and poor utilization to the LDM.
• Manage linen inventory levels.
• Inventory exchange carts and build back to prescribed par levels; transport carts to designated areas safely.
• Inventory top-off carts and rebuild to prescribed par levels.
• Record data using the appropriate method (tablets, order sheets).
• Collect soiled linen and transport to the soiled linen storage room.
• Maintain the linen room in a neat and orderly fashion.
