Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Linen Technician responsible for daily delivery and pickup of clean linen carts across units, and for performing physical inventory using handheld devices. You will count and record data in the Control-Tex system, ensuring accurate quantities and timely service for hospital units.

You will interact with healthcare teams, maintain a clean Linen Storeroom, and coordinate with staff and drivers to stage carts for delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous linen delivery and inventory experience.
• Computer experience with Control-Tex software.
• Ability to communicate with healthcare team.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Perform physical linen inventory using handheld device and deliver/pick up carts.
• Record item counts in handheld device for Control-Tex input.
• Neatly place clean linen on carts and shelves.
• Interact with customers to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Respond to units requesting additional linen as needed.
• Coordinate staging of carts with staff and drivers.
• Maintain cleanliness of Linen Storeroom.
• Consolidate partially full carts and remove empty ones.
• Ensure carts are properly returned to Laundry and delivered to facility.
• Comply with WellStar policies and codes of conduct.
