Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Linen Technician for the Day Shift on a PRN as needed basis. You will be responsible for daily delivery and pickup of linen carts, inventory counts, and ensuring timely supplies to hospital units.

The role requires performing data entry on a handheld device and maintaining organized linen storage areas. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred experience in linen logistics, inventory, and working with Control-Tex software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certifications required upon hire unless stated otherwise.
• Experience: linen delivery and inventory preferred; computer experience and Control-Tex preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record data with a hand-held device and enter into Control-Tex Inventory system.
• Deliver clean linen carts to hospital units and fetch used carts.
• Count linen and ensure accurate delivery quantities to units.
• Maintain cleanliness of Linen Storeroom and assist with staging of carts.
