Job summary

Qualifications

• Level IV: three years of experience in a commercial or institutional laundry, or sewing experience; substitution allowed for juvenile/adult offender experience with limits.

Responsibilities

• Operates washers, dryers, mangles, pressers and irons.
• Sews by hand or machine, mends, alters and repairs clothing and linens.
• Maintains sewing materials and prepares items for delivery.
• Keeps work area clean and maintains equipment.
